Photographer
and Videographer:
I, for one, wanted lots of black-and-white photographs, and lots of candid (i.e. "Action shots.") I am told that many brides of my generation are requesting this, as the formalized, "posed" portraits seem more and more antiquated. Still, there are plenty of women who prefer these more traditional photos. (Often parents still want the traditional portrait to frame and display, too.)
It seemed to me that videographers all tend to offer the same choices: two or three video packages, one of which is simply the ceremony and reception, the other of which incorporates childhood photographs of the bride and groom, narration, and music. We opted for the first, and less expensive, option. After all, who wants to remember those awful first grade haircuts, anyway?! [page 4] [page 2] |
