Hi Nathalie! Us old-timers just couldn't stay away. We enjoy chatting so much, we couldn't give it up! Good to hear from you - don't be such a stranger!

Okay, I have a question for all you who are/were virgins who waited for their wedding night. Was it awkward the first time? Esp. after a busy day? It looks like most of you weren't inexperienced on your wedding night:) But I would really be curious to hear from some who were and how did it go, your wedding night being your first? Just ignore me if I'm out of line or getting too personal:)

I came from a very religious, practicing, and old-fashioned family. Sex before marriage is a big NO, so as living together before marriage. I'm getting married next year and I'm still a virgin. Even though I've heard from my parents and relatives that sex is a mortal sin, I don't think that it was the reason why it stick to my mind to wait until I'm married. It was because of my grandmother's advise. She said, "a woman is like crystal ... special and unique, but once it's broken, it will never be the same again". So, I waited. My fiance is also a practicing Christian, who has fear of God. I must admit that it's very tempting at times, but, we would just say a short prayer and the temptation goes away. Now, that we're preparing for our wedding, we talk about our wedding night and we both can't wait. I'm more scared and nervous about the honeymoon than saying I DO. We still have a year before our wedding but I'm already counting the days! I'm glad I listed to my grandmother.
