There is something magically special about your wedding day and wedding night. And waiting for that special moment, when you and your newly husband make love for the first time is wonderful-socially, mentally, spiritually and physically. I recently got married 7/99 and my husband and I were virgins in our dating career. But one day it happened and things changed. After then we could not get along, due to religious beliefs. We knew we were doing things that were meant for marriage only. After realizing how pre-marrital sex affected our relationship, we both quickly made the decision to stop until marriage. It was HARD! After dating for almost 5 years, I could not wait until wedding night. Finally it came. I open my eyes and saw my wedding ring on my left hand softly hold his strong back and everything was right. I knew want I had been waiting for was not in vain. For I was now making love to my HUSBAND, not just some man. If you can hold out------it's worth it.

Sorry girls - I just can't do it!!! ;~) Personally, I think EVERY time is special and memorable with my fiancee. Yes, I do think our wedding day/night will be very memorable to us, but not because we'll be writhing sex maniacs by nightfall (hehehe). I'm more excited to have finally found someone whom I totally adore and want to spend my entire life with. I do applaud those of you who have the willpower to accomplish this task, though....I know I could never do it! Kudos to you all!

Natalie, I loved your thoughts on the subject. I was wondering if I could copy it and post it on my site?

Well---because of Nathalie (and my addiction to this board!) my FH and I are "experienced virgins" as well. I read this idea here on this post and talked it over with my FH. He thought it sounded kinda neat, so we "started" about 1.5 mo. ago. Our wedding is in January. WOW. Long time, but it is actually FUN! We are, ummmmmm, finding many more ways to have fun! And we constantly tease and play about how we can't wait till the honeymoon. We have talked about "throwing in the towel", but we feel like we've made it this far...so may as well keep going! And like I said....we are definitely having FUN!!!!! =)

Well, if you fall off the wagon, you can always climb back on and tell yourselves that it's forbidden (again) and let that urgency keep building, and building, and building, until... Hmmm...assuming you are having fun with the many other "ways to have fun," as you go along, this could be a kind of entertaining game...;)

Wow!! Who would have thought that after 5 months away from this board, this thread would still be active. It's like coming home again! LOL Beth, feel free to copy whatever you like. It's nice to know others share these thoughts. When I started this thread I really thought I'd be the only 'freak' doing this. Well, just thought I'd drop in to see if anyone was still around... so many new 'faces'! Good luck and best wishes to all of you (newleyweds & brides-to-be). Andrea, Suz , I can't believe you're still here! I guess some 'seasoned veterans' had to stay and help out the young-uns! Hope you're keeping well! nat :0)
